Working Together
My approach to therapeutic work is trauma-informed and eclectic. I'm guided by feminist theory, narrative approaches and embodiment based theory. My experience continues to teach me that body-based clinical practices, mindfulness and attention to emotion can be rich pathways toward growth and healing. In this way, I see wellbeing as an integration of mind and body.

Some areas of my practice include: anxiety, depression, substance use, emotional regulation, stress and trauma. I have also supported individuals and couples through relational challenges, including interpersonal communication, infidelity and intimacy-related concerns.
Another possibility for our work together might consider our relationships with our bodies: body image, self-acceptance and even our physiological experience of emotion. There are many factors contributing to ruptured relationships with our bodies and disrupted trust in ourselves. Our work together might help promote healing in some of these areas.
